Why do we need an exact drop-off/pick-up time?
We bring the dogs inside during during drop-off and pick-ups because we do not want to leave them outside alone or stress them out by seeing strangers.
Why do you recommend a fecal flotation?
A fecal flotation checks for parasites that you may not be able to see with your own eye. We strive to keep a clean and safe environment and will try to do everything to prevent any dogs from getting sick. Though it is never a guaraantee, we take extra preventatives by requiring this test for young puppies and new resuces and sanitizing all the dog areas both inside and outside with dog safe cleaners that kill common dog illnesses and parasites.
Why do I bring food?
Changing your dog's diet abruptly can upset their digestive system, especially in a new environment. This can lead to your dog feeling ill, developing diarrhea or vomiting.
My dog is sick. Can he/she still attend?
No, if your dog is exhibiting any symptoms such as sneezing, coughing, wheezing, runny eyes or nose, vomiting, lethargy, or diarrhea, please do not bring your dog.
Do you take puppies?
We sure do! We require all dogs to be at least 4 months old and:
Be up-to-date on all 3 vaccines
Have a clear fecal flotation
Be on a Flea and Tick preventative
Do I get updates about my dog?
Yes! There will be pictures and videos on our Facebook. You can also message us for updates and we will respond as soon as we have a chance during business hours.
Why is there a nap time?
Dogs sleep on average 13 hours a day at home. In our environment they will play a lot and sleep less than they would at home. Just like us, dogs get irritable when tired and their immune systems aren't as strong. Rest and recuperation is key to a safe, healthy, and stress-free vacation.
Do you accept all breeds?
Yes, all breeds are welcome!
Does my dog need to be spayed/neutered?
No, however we will seperate dogs if in heat.
Do dog get to play together?
If you sign off for group play, then yes. We offer both group play and individual play. When we have dogs that have matching personalities, temperaments, and sizes, we will allow them to play in groups of 10 dogs or less. If we do not have dogs that match this, your dog will get one-on-one time with staff. Individual enrichment play is offered to every dog. Dogs that play one-on-one with a human get just as much play time as any of the other dogs.
What should I not bring?
Avoid bringing anything your pup can chew up, choke, or destroy. Do not bring bedding, bowls, or retractable leashes.
What should I bring?
Food, medicine, dog towel or regular towel if swimming, CBD or any other calming aid if necessary, snap on collar and leash or a slip leash.
How should I bring my pups food?
We can accommodate your dogs' food in any form you bring it. Just make sure it is in something that can be sealed back and labeled with their name. The simplest option for staff is if you pre-portion each meal into individual bags, but that is not necessary.
What happens if my dog needs to see a vet?
We spend all day with your dog and quickly get to know them. We will notice quickly if something is off. If your dog needs a vet, no matter what time, we can get them there and will contact you immediately. In our paperwork we have the documents needed to allow us to take your dog to your local vet or if needed, an emergency vet. We would use Oklahoma Veterinary Specialist in Tulsa if your primary was unavailable.
